Though this page brings up the existance of LOVE, TRUTH, and COURAGE it omits the association of their symbols. As each Virtue has a Rune as a symbol of that Virtue, so each of these embodiments have symbols. The symbol of LOVE is a candle. The symbol of TRUTH is a book. And, the symbol of COURAGE is a bell, later (in Ultima IX) a cup.
These symbols were brought together by the Avatar in Ultima IV. The Bell was found in the Serpent Hold in the bottom of a well. The Book was in the Lyceam misshelved under "r". The candle was found west of the city of Cove within a fire field.
Game play hinged on the makeup of these embodiments in Ultima IV. Together they made up the key to the Abyss. LOVE is Compasion. Sacrifice is built upon LOVE and COURAGE. TRUTH tempered by LOVE becomes Justice. Later these symbols were necessary in Ultima IX.
ALso, each virtue is associated with a color.
Honesty - Blue
Compassion - Yellow
Valor - Red
Justice - Green
Sacrifice - Orange
Honor - Purple
Spirituality - White
Humility - Black
More location information?
[edit]Is it ok to add more information about the cities, towns and locations (dungeons, etc)?
Something like how they've changed over the different game periods, etc?

Merges
[edit]Sosaria and Moongate should be merged into this article. Those articles are very short and do not establish the notability that is required for a Wikipedia article. The information would be better presented in this article. Pagrashtak 01:19, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
