Why part of Chittenden County??
[edit]Buel's Gore is inaccessible by road from Chittenden County. This has been a strange feature of the county I've noticed and wondered about since perusing old maps as a kid in the 1960's. Somebody must have some idea why it was incorporated as part of Chittenden as opposed to Addison or Washington, from either of which the gore can be accessed?
