Delete -- Cyrius|✎ 16:40, Apr 21, 2004 (UTC)- Save. There is more to epitome than the definition as it is a source of evidence in Classics and Classical Studies. I've fleshed it out a bit and am currently looking for examples. Adamsan 22:40, 25 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, thanks to Adamsan. --Zigger 07:37, 2004 Apr 26 (UTC)

Renew deletion
[edit](I was not part of the previous discussion) This is a dictionary entry. There is no coherent topic here. It simply provides various usages and definitions of the word. If somebody wants to take one or more of those definitions and write articles on the implied topics that might be appropriate but this particular article doesn't belong.

question : is a Reader's Digest an epitome
[edit]If I understand it well, a Reader's Digest is a short version of some novels; are those to be considered as epitome or not ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.22.218.36 (talk) 11:40, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
Split computer-related section?
[edit]I think the computer related section needs to be in a separate article, Epitome (computing). It would be nice if someone could expand on the topic. Right now it's not clear how it is different from compression. 79.180.168.5 (talk) 15:10, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
