Personally, and to fit in with existing format, I think the names of those two places called Berlin in Wisconsin should be identified as Berlin, Green Lake County, Wisconsin and [Berlin, {blank} County, Wisconsin]. I say "(blank)" because it's not clear from the Wikipedia entry which county the second place is in. They both have between 1,000 and 5,500 people, so it's difficult to know which is supposed to be the "town" and which is supposed to be the "city." When there are two places with the same name in one state, they are generally disambiguated by their county name, on Wikipedia. Moncrief 02:28, Mar 23, 2004 (UTC)

I just posted about this topic on my user page; they ARE in the same county :). Bamos 02:37, 23 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Sorting them out

[edit]

This one is trickier than it seeems. There is one city of Berlin, but it extends into two counties. There are also two separate towns of Berlin. So we could see Berlin City in Green Lake or Waushara Counties (although Green Lake is primary, it just grew). We do see Berlin Town in Marathon and Green Lake Counties. I'll start tring to shift an link that pages. See further discussion at Talk:List of Wisconsin towns Lou I 06:19, 29 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Someone needs to fix the population in the first sentence... there are NOT 500,000 residents of Berlin. I can['t figure out how to do that —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.93.211.5 (talk) 16:09, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
