User talk:Kathryn McNamara
Hi, Kathryn.
Welcome to Wikipedia!
I noticed that you made a contribution to the talk page of the Wiki article, which seems to be a popular place for new contributors to start practicing their Wiki-fu :-)
In case you didn't know, there is a dedicated "practice page": Wikipedia:Sandbox. You can try anything there, and are actively encouraged to do so.
If you are interested in Australian Mist cats, you might be interested in the article we already have on the subject. You can edit the page directly if you'd like to make some corrections or improvements. Alternatively, you can become the first person to discuss the article on its talk page.
Finally, in the interests of fairness (and legality!), Wikipedia has policies in place to ensure that we do not accidentally "borrow" copyrighted material (see here for instance). Again, this is not an issue if you're just experimenting, but please bear it in mind when contributing to articles.
I hope you enjoy your time here and decide to stay!

Thanks Chocolateboy. I am Wiki'ing away and it is FUN.
- Hi there. I have taken the liberty to fix the links on your user page to correct internal links - if you really want external links you should format them like [http://foo.bar Alternative text] (note its just a single bracket). I also move the sandbox article you create to User:Kathryn McNamara/Sandbox as you created it in the wrong namespace - if it really was just a test add a {{delete}}. andy 17:47, 26 Jul 2004 (UTC)
