How to get an arbitrator removed?
[edit]Anyone know who I appeal to or what the procedure is to get an Arbitrator removed from the case? RJII 18:44, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- If you have evidence of a conflict of interest or bias, you should post it. I would have been best if done earlier when the request was being placed. However, if the evidence is strong, I suspect peer pressure and preservation of reputation would result in recusal. --Silverback 05:33, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks, I did post it on the Statement page. The guy didn't agree he should be recused. It looks like it's a voluntary thing. RJII 05:41, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Silverback
[edit]Silverback has now entered the case by posting on the evidence page. It should be noted that he is an anarcho-capitalist like RJII and has edited the capitalism article in a similar manner. For example, in this edit he deletes the link to alternate definitions of capitalism and instead inserts a definition that explicitly mentions anarcho-capitalism but no other ideologues. - I can see how you would get the impression that I am an anarcho-capitalist, but I am really more a fan of minarchism and microeconomic and economic theory. Who better to write a summary introduction to capitalism? I certainly have nothing against anarcho-capitalist idealists, since they mean me no harm, so am happy to wikilink to that article at an opportune point. You see, I prefer freedom to equality, because the latter is unnatural and would require coercion, and in general focuses too much on materialism and not enough on reproductive access to females, i.e., true wealth.--Silverback 06:53, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Because I understand anarcho-capitalism and edit the article to improve it, that makes me an anarcho-capitalist? You need to stop worrying about what's going on in other people's heads and focus on content. Don't make assertions about people unless you know the facts. You have no clue. Also, you whine about me deleting the link to the definitions of capitalism article. I've been a major contributer to that article, so why would I deleted the think? Did it ever occur to you that it was deleted inadvertantly during editing? Of course I want the article to link to that page. Get a grip. And, tt's really funny that you moan about Silverback putting in mention of anarcho-capitalism when you were doing the same thing: [2] while I was the one trying to remove mention of anarcho-capitalism.
- There goes your credibility. RJII 15:41, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
