I wrote a stub on this topic. It mostly gleaned knowledge from a class I'm taking on abstract algebra and a book by i.n. Herstein "Topics in Algebra" - second edition. Though completely my own work.

I think some of this info might be wrong; I'm not sure the first sentance is correct, for example. I think that some groups can be spoken of as being generated by a set of elements. (--Anon)
