User talk:Arcade~enwiki
Hello...I was looking to find information as to who had been the first person to start the Bahá'í Faith page at Wikipedia and when that was...I saw your name was the earliest on record here, but it looks like there must have been articles previous since your comment had to do with formatting...Do you know where one could find the original records? Thanks, [[User:Brettz9|Brettz9 (talk)]] 07:25, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Main namespace cleanup
[edit]Heya, I've moved [Wikipedians/arcade] to User:Arcade/old. There's some edit history, so perhaps you want to keep it. Otherwise just delete it (or ask an admin to do so). --fvw* 20:54, 2004 Dec 14 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Lechon.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Lechon.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 08:22, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Wikimania 2010 could be coming to Stockholm!
[edit]I'm leaving you a note as you may be interested in this opportunity.
People from all six Nordic Wiki-communities (sv, no, nn, fi, da and is) are coordinating a bid for Wikimania 2010 in Stockholm. I'm sending you a message to let you know that this is occurring, and over the next few months we're looking for community support to make sure this happens! See the bid page on meta and if you like such an idea, please sign the "supporters" list at the bottom. Tack (or takk), and have a wonderful day! Mike H. Fierce! 07:21, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Your user page
[edit]I found your old user page while checking out some old edits. I have history merged it, so that all edits are in one place. Hope you don't mind. Graham87 15:12, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- I've also imported its old edits from the Nostalgia Wikipedia. Graham87 05:19, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of MaraDNS
[edit]The article MaraDNS has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no third party sources to attest to the notability of this software
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Theserialcomma (talk) 19:24, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
- It looks like you’ve retired from the Wikipedia (you got this message because you are the original author of the MaraDNS article), but, yes, this issue has been resolved. We’ve added two published books to the article and a link to an article on ZDNet’s website. Should this, for whatever reason, not establish notability for any Wikipedia editors, I also found peer-reviewed papers and PhD dissertations discussing MaraDNS, which I have added to the article’s talk page. I was very flattered and honored, when researching MaraDNS’ notability, to see my program discussed in numerous peer-reviewed publications and praised in O’Reilly books. A discussion is taking place as to whether the article MaraDNS is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MaraDNS until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. -- Jreferee (talk) 10:11, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Arcade. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Arcade~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
