About Me I have been an editing Wikipedians since about December 2004 and as I have edited pages and visited various community portal pages I have developed a few views on Wikipedia.
Positive:
- The idea of an online community based around an open source free editing encyclopedia is great.
- Being able to create new pages and being able to change pages on the internet for anyone to read is ingenious
- Each user having there own editing account is good as-well
Negative
- The way other users critisise you for anything THEY disagree with, or THEY do not like
- Accusations: When I was new to Wiki I posted a vote on a candidate or VFD page and an older user pounced on me accusing me of being a sockpuppet under the bare evidence I had made 39 edits. I have seen this a number of times in other cases.
- The way users sometimes completely undermine Wikipedia rules, or when users suck up to Administators
