Hello John. I'm afraid that I'm not really involved with that particular article, and I won't be able to speak for whoever removed it. I will try my best to give you some insight on your issue, but the best place to go is the article's talk page.

External links are meant to be a quick way for people to find out more information on a topic, and visit relevent organizations, etc. It's of utmost importance that these links are accessible to our users— in fact, even sites that require registration are often discouraged, as they are an annoyance.

You should probably not be adding links to your own site. If what you're selling is that good, then somebody else will come across it and add it. However, I've only ever seen a couple links on Wikipedia that require you to buy something to appreciate the purpose of the site. Wikipedia is meant to be an encyclopedia, and our goal is to help people learn more about a given subject. Nobody makes money here, and Wikipedia shouldn't be used as a means of profit.

I took a look at your site, and it looks like the entire website is devoted to selling that DVD. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Like I said before, people should be able to click on a link and see what they want without buying a product. I'm sure that the majority of people would visit the site expecting to find something that they can learn from, but then become discouraged when they find out that they have to pay for it.

I haven't downloaded the video (it's quite large), but maybe if you added a link to the video samples that were linked to on your page, it could be helpful. It is a very large download, so please make a note of that if you do so.

Like I said, I haven't seen the video samples, so it may or may not be appropriate for the article- you'll have to judge that. If you're uncomfortable with doing so, then it'd be nice if you left a message on Talk:Liverpool, and let somebody else deal with it. I do, however, see one problem right off the bat: the aforementioned video will effectively exclude all dial-up users due to its enormous size.

I apologize if I haven't been of much help, but I'm really not at all involved with that article. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. You may also leave a message on the article's talk page.

Warm regards,
