I am looking for the herb Robinia for midicinal purposes. Can anyone help me?

I have reverted the following addition:

Generally also known as the Black Locust tree, Locust tree' or False Acacia (Robinia pseudoacacia)

because this page is for all of Robinia, not just Robinia pseudoacacia (which has its own page).

I also reverted the rest of the edit:

The fruits develop into smooth brown flattish pods (10-15cm) with 4-8 black seeds. They ripen in autumn and remain on the tree until they split into two and are carried off by the wind with seeds attached. They are a relative of the pea and originally classed as Leguminosae (Pea family), subfamily Papilionoideae.

because I'm not sure whether it applies to the whole genus, or just R. pseudoacacia. If the whole genus has similar fruit, it would be worth re-adding something about it - it is always good to explain what species in the genus have in common.
