[edit]This should really be at Tony Wright (something), as he's never known as Anthony, and possibly the same applies to Anthony David Wright (although I have seen him as Anthony D. Wright in some lists of MPs). Would Tony Wright (Staffordshire politician) and Tony Wright (Norfolk politician) be acceptable? sjorford 15:12, 1 Jul 2004 (UTC)

[edit]I would like to declare a conflict of interest as the webmaster of the official website for Tony Wright and point out that I have not altered the meaning of the main prose of the article. I have added facts, images and restructured the page slightly. Nothing has been added, removed or edited to create bias. Twright webmaster 09:45, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit]One of my favourite political quotes said by anyone comes from him;
Speaking to then prime minister Tony Blair as a member of a Select Committee - `You were sitting in front of us in July 2003, just after the (Iraq) war, and you said — and this is a direct quote from our session here — "The test will be what does Iraq look like in a year's time". We are four years on, we now know what Iraq looks like, is it not a tragedy that you happen to find yourself as British Prime Minister when the crazies are in the White House?'
