Recently the Knuckles TV show on Paramount featured Reno as a location in the last 2 episodes.
[edit]The last two episodes were called Reno, Baby and What Happens in Reno, Stays in Reno. Both protagonists Wade Whipple and Knuckles the Echidna made their main goal reaching Reno.
I feel that this information would be best suited in the "In popular culture" category.
(see, I would link the paramount episodes themself but I do not have a subscription unfortunately. Instead I will link the IMDB page for the series. Apologies.)
IMDB page for ep.5 of Knuckles.

Climate
[edit]@Elhinp You need station data to be sure of Köppen classes. Maps can be low-resolution, which causes very obvious mistakes. The NOAA source is also not enough, as we would have to know the distribution of precipitation, not just the amount. Somewhere with 400mm of precipitation can also qualify as Cfa is the precipitation is well-distributed enough: see Afyon for example. Uness232 (talk) 16:25, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Uness232 There is a second station in Stead, NV, which is within the Reno city limits. https://wrcc.dri.edu/cgi-bin/cliMAIN.pl?nv7820 -- I've linked it's data from the WRCC. It's annual precipitation amount/distribution would put it in the Mediterranean zone. Thanks. Elhinp 16:53, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Uness232 It's also not unheard of for there to be a BSK/Mediterranean overlap. See Tehran, San Diego -- Tehran especially since it's also on the edges of mountain range. Elhinp 16:57, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- I restored the Csa class, adding the station from a NOAA source. I am aware of each of these cities, but my argument was based on WP:V, not on whether Csa and BSk can overlap. They obviously can, but that's not the only possibility. Uness232 (talk) 18:21, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Uness232 Thanks, I'm glad we could verify the Csa/BSk overlap. Elhinp 00:28, 14 June 2024 (UTC)

MidTown Reno
[edit]Midtown Reno is the new hip area found right outside down town Reno where all the hotels and casinos are. In 2008 a group of entrepreneurs came together and are who established the Midtown area for what it is now. Winterserika66 (talk) 18:53, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
