Time frame?
[edit]There is no reference whatsoever to what years (at least, approximately) she lived about.
Objectivity?
[edit]This article appears to lack a certain objectivity and sounds more like something you would find in a Christian lore school-book than in an encyclopaedia. I.e.: "At the time of departure of Saint Verena from our world, the Most Holy Virgin Mary appeared to her to console and strengthen her." --VerenaKrebs 11:21, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
I agree. I have reworked the article's language. --Polylerus (talk) 18:49, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Veneration in Orthodoxy
[edit]This is in origin a regional saint, with a cult in Switzerland and southern Germany.
Now, Orthodox churches have the tradition to accept early Christian saints by default, e.g. in the case of emigrant communities, in this case in Switzerland, that would include the veneration of local saints.
However, there is no indication of any tradition of veneration in either Eastern or Oriental Orthodox tradition. For some reason, apparently, relics of Verena were transferred to Egypt in 1986. This is certainly notable, but we would need more information of how this peculiar transaction came about. Did her cult somehow spread beyond Switzerland/Germany already before modern times, or is this entirely a product of the recent establishment of emigrant Orthodox churches in the west? --dab (𒁳) 15:00, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
St.verena
[edit]St verrna is an ancient Egypt so she has a black colour. It should show a black pic for her. She already had a black painting for her . هاني النوبي (talk) 17:42, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
