[edit]This article is a bit of a puzzle. It reads like something taken off the bottom of a press release. The original was full of businesspeak that means not much. It is still a bit baffling.
What are we to make of "multiple configurations"? Does it mean that you can configure each model to meet your needs? Or that Netgear makes range of different models that fill particular niches? MK (talk) 18:17, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Michael.kenward: It does look it's been copied directly from the Netgear About section posted on every Press Release.
As far as I'm aware I think multiple configurations is relating to minor hardware differences depending on region, for example the FCC may have some extra requirements not necessary to other markets, or types of plugs included, therefore requiring a different configuration of the product. You may notice if you buy a Netgear product the model number contains the region variation, such as, R7000-100NAS for the US, R7000-100PES for Europe and R7000-100UKS for the UK.
